St. Stephen’s Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides catechetical instruction for children who are not enrolled in a Catholic grade school. PSR aims to educate and form these students in our faith including preparing them for the reception of sacraments as well as deepening and reinforcing knowledge of their religion and values for living. Religious education offerings at St Stephen parish are based on the core principles that faith formation is an ongoing, lifelong process involving prayer, study and Christian service, and that parents are the primary religious educators of their children.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which an adult person is initiated into the Catholic Church, through Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. Through this process the adult is formed in the Christian faith, with the local parish community serving as both catechists and models.
Contact the parish office to find out more.
